What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy offers people the opportunity to be different. It allows people to find another way of being and responding in the world when they have become frustrated or unhappy with the way things have been for them.
People often have a sense of why things are the way they are, but is is difficult to see a way of changing by yourself. Psychotherapy can empower you to be the person you would like to be.
I believe that everyone has the answers that they need but that sometimes they need an empathic and safe place to explore, knowing that they are held in positive regard, in order to find them. I can provide that space for you.
Transactional Analysis is a way of understanding ourselves and our relationships with others, and it is the basis for my work. It is often the therapeutic relationship that is empowering and allows change to occur.
