Why Psychotherapy?

The reasons for seeking counselling or psychotherapy are as diverse as we are. Sometimes it is purely in order better understand our own processes, and sometimes to understand our relationships with others – it will usually have an impact on both. Changing old patterns that are no longer working for you is possible with therapy.

On this page is a list that describes some of the reasons that result in people seeking some help, but it is not exhaustive and often the reasons are difficult to describe.
